How Do 55 Tip Boards Work?

Just like football squares, your numbers win if they match the last digit of both teams scores at the end of the period (your pool admin chooses which periods count: 1st Quarter, 2nd, 3rd, or Final). Numbers score either way (doesn't matter if the home or away team has the last digit).

Consider this example:

In the example game above the winning numbers would be:

• 1st Quarter: 3-7
  The score was 7-3 after first quarter.
• 2nd Quarter: 0-1
  The score was 21-10 after second quarter.
• 3rd Quarter: 3-7
  The score was 27-13 after third quarter.
• Final: 0-4
  The score was 34-20 at end of game.

We randomly generate the numbers for all of the tickets on your board. When someone signs up they will get emailed their numbers. As soon as all 55 numbers are claimed everyone can follow along on your leaderboard to see who has what number.

Most commonly there is a winner at each of the end of first 3 quarters and the Final score. But you can decide how you want to score your tip board using any of the ideas below.

How To Create Your Tip Board

Follow these steps to create your tip board online.

1. Open the Tip Board Online create page
2. Enter your email and a name for your board
3. Click Create Pool
4. Copy and share the pool invitation with anyone you want to get a ticket
5. Once all 55 tickets are claimed, view everyone's numbers on your pool leaderboard
6. Watch the game for the score at the end of the quarters to see what the winning numbers are, and let the winner know!
7. Text your friends the link to see everyone's numbers on their phone
