Overview

Our Ryder Cup Pool format awards points to golfers in the Ryder Cup for winning or halving their matches. Also points for picking the winning team USA or Europe.

Pool Objective

Pick a team of golfers that accumulates the most points throughout the 28 Ryder Cup matches. Pick the correct winning team also to get the highest team score.

Scoring Rules

• Fourball and Foursomes award each individual golfer 2 points for a win and 1 point for a tie.
• Singles matches award each individual golfer 4 points for a win and and 2 points for a tie.
• Correct winning team awards 8 points (no points awarded if 14-14 tie)
• The sum total of your points determines your team score.
• The participant with the highest team score wins the pool.
• Tiebreaker: Guess the final score of the Ryder Cup (example: 16-12) ... this does not count for official points but is only used to break the tie.

Picking Teams

Default Setup:
Each person selects 1 player from each tier, for a total of 6 players, a winning team, and a tiebreaker of final score.

Custom Setup:
Fully customize the groupings of golfers or allow for picking any n number of golfers.

Where and When Is The Ryder Cup This Year?

The 2025 Ryder Cup is from Friday 9/26 to Sunday 9/28. It is played at Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, NY.
